I need to talk about something I see every single day.
Most gifted practitioners have a horrible relationship with money.
And the reason is a paradox: it's because you are a good person. You genuinely care. You feel your client's pain, and your soul screams to help them, so you give your work away for little or nothing.
Your empathy is your greatest asset. But when it's not balanced with professional boundaries, it becomes the direct source of your burnout and your empty bank account.
Let me ask you a question I ask my private clients:
Are you truly serving the world if you're so financially stressed that you can't even properly serve yourself?
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
The most spiritual and responsible thing you can do for your clients is to build a practice that is so profitable and sustainable that you can show up for them as a grounded, resourced, and powerful professional, not a depleted martyr.
Charging what you're worth isn't a business tactic. It's an act of self-preservation that allows your service to the world to continue.
Think about it.
In Service to the Revolution,
Claudiu
